RC-1 Remote, very useful accessory.
RC-1 for my Canon
Very very happy with my newest purchase. Don’t know how anyone could live without one. And it was not too expensive. I paid about $26.00 with taxes and shipping. Arrived 3 days later.
Straight out the box, came with battery, it was easy to use. It has 3 settings; off position, instant shutter release and a 2 secound delay. Need to cancel my order of “Canon RC-1 for Dummies Vol. 1″
A project that I want to work soon is to catch a droplet of water in mid drip. Hopefully with this useful gadget, I can set that up without having camera shake by not having to press on the shutter button on the camera, instead use the remote. All I need is buy some more lights to get that done. I’ll keep U posted guys.

I finally mastered my cell phone. Never had a touch screen before. All the settings and modes were so different. (Should of read the manual.) Now I love it and can’t put it down. Have to get the protective clear shield/guard for it though. And have to remember to lock the screen. It’s not a flip phone. lol.
Also, today in the mail arrived my RC-1 remote I ordered on Friday in Amazon. Can’t wait to hook it up and put it to use. With the remote, I can fully avoid camera shake and get better, clearer pictures for long exposure shots. And even maybe set up some macro shots. For now, some self portraits will do. Hey, where’s my tripod?
This year I strive to be more proactive in my business and with these tools, and support from my hometeam, it will def help accomplish these goals. Here’s to a prosperous New Year to all.

Hello my peoples. Got back from my successful shoot in J-Ville, FL. last weekend. It was a very nice location and the weather played very well. We took over 200 plus pix all together. It took about a week to go and process mostly all of them cause they came out so good. The clients were very happy with the end results as was I. The family were so professional and we all had a great time.
Good news. I finally got around to ordering my business cards to help promote the business. Should get them by the end of the week. Can’t wait to start handing them out.

Headed off to see my peoples in Jacksonville, FL this past weekend. I always have a blast when I go up there. They are such good friends and great hosts. This time I rode up with the Jimenez family to celebrate JC’s B-day and also, unbeknownst to us all who rode up, the Rodriguez’s 14 year anniversary.
Great time. Took some shots of their daughter’s softball game and later, some of us at the B-Day dinner with some drinks. We headed back to the house and celebrated some more with some drink Chi made that had vodka, Redbull and Coke. My stomach didn’t agree later.
Happy B-Day JC and Happy 14th Mr. & Mrs. Rodriguez. Love you guys for holding me down all these years.

What a fun week.
Linked up with and old friend I haven’t seen in a long, long time. Glad she’s doing so great. Happy I found her again.
My boy Hialeah Jay’s B-day was a success and we all had a great time.
Alot people breezed by my photostream this week and left some very positive and encouraging comments. Very nice. Will strive not disappoint.
Last night, we pre-celebrated my boy JC’s B-Day with the crew. But the party don’t stop. We’re heading off to Jacksonville, Fl for the weekend to continue his B-Day festivities today at our people’s house.
The picture above was taken by a friend of mine who lives in Kansas. It caught my eye when I looked through her album. I asked if she would send it to me so I can post-process it and then add it to my photostream. She agreed. Had fun with it and finally came up with this effect and title. I thought it sent a certain mood that best reflected the picture. She loved it and now is her preferred picture. This came out so well, that it inspired to me to maybe start asking people to send me there preferred pictures so I can practice and process them too.

Just got back from a 4 day 3 night Orlando “Happy 60th B-Day Mom” weekend. No computer access was one of the drawbacks of the trip. Everything else went fantastic. She smiled through out the trip and said she couldn’t of had a better time. Took many pictures of the trip and will be posting 1 or 2 here for of all of you too see.
The pic above was taken of my homegirl Veronica and her son about a month ago. Known her since she was 12 years old and now see her all grown up with her baby boy. Such a woman. Love this shot.
